Wanetta Ida Mary (Lawson) Hamel

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 66, surrounded by the love of her family. Loving Mom of Nick, Dennis (Stacey) and Mike (Lindsay). Proud Grama of 4 grandchildren, Rylynn, Amelia, Tyson and Beau.  Beloved daughter of Edna and the late Garfield (Gary) Lawson. Dear sister of the late Heather, late Rocky, Randy (Shelley) and Jaime. Caring friend and former spouse of Wayne Hamel.  She was such a kind and humble lady, with a heart of gold. Wanetta will be lovingly remembered by many aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

As an expression of sympathy and in memory of Wanetta, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society and your local food bank. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family through Wanetta’s tribute page.

Visitation, to take place on Tuesday, July 26th, from 11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. Funeral Service at 12:00p.m. with reception to follow. Burial at Grenfel Cemetery following reception.
