Da SILVA, Francisco Pires    Francisco Pires Da Silva passed away peacefully on Saturday August 14, 2021 in his 73rd year. Beloved father of David (Diana) and Brian (Carolynne) Da Silva. Proud grandfather of Ethan, Luke, Adam, Eliana and Brinley. Survived by Sister Isaura (Chester-deceased) and brothers, Celestino (Arlete) and Clemente (Mary). Loving uncle to Lisa (Alan), Herbert (Barbara), Debbie (David), Diana, Anna and Jennifer (Frank). Frank worked hard to provide for his family. He worked at Pharmacia, Upjohn and Pfizer for over 20 years. He retired at the age of 64. Frank enjoyed watching all sports, with the Maple Leafs and Lisbon Sporting being his all-time favourites. He enjoyed golf games and travelling to Terceira, Portugal. A special thanks to the caring, supportive staff at the Elden in Bradford. A funeral mass will take place on Friday August 27, 2021 at Holy Martyrs of Japan Parish in Bradford. The funeral mass will be by invitation only. For those who cannot attend, the mass will be live streamed at 11:00 am. A link will be shared upon request with family and friends.

A private burial will follow the mass at Martyrs of Japan Cemetery.
