Edward Frank Joseph Emms

Edward Frank Joseph Emms - 88 years of age, passed on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Royal Victoria Hospital.

Ed was born July 12, 1933 in Barrie, Ontario to the late Milt and Mary Emms.  Ed was second youngest of four boys. Brothers Ernie, Dorsey and George all preceded him in death.

Ed loved to joke and make others laugh.  Ed worked in a host of jobs but his favourite was golf course groundskeeper and it kept him close to the sport he loved the most, golf.  A sport he enjoyed for approximately 60 years.  Ed also loved woodworking creating some beautiful cabinets, benches and keepsake boxes.

Ed leaves to cherish his loving memory wife Sharon Henderson, two children Ed Henderson (wife Gwen, children Eric, Connor, Brittany and Justin) and Carrie Dill (husband Brian, children Brooklyn and Brandon) and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Innisfil Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 12th, 2021 from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. Service will be on Friday, August 13th, 2021 at 10:30a.m.  Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
