BACKER, Dwayne Joseph Wilfred – Passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022, at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, in his 83rd year.  Beloved husband of Pauline. Cherished father of John (Nicole Rivait). Will be lovingly missed and remembered by all his extended family and friends. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at 11:00a.m. at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church (241 Second Street, Mattawa, Ontario, P0H 1V0) Burial of cremated remains to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Mattawa, Ontario. Reception to be held at Mattawa Lions Club (175 Brook Street, Mattawa, Ontario, P0H 1V0).
