It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Phil Elliot, peacefully in his sleep at home in Innisfil, on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Phil had worked for many years for Metro Ambulance, as well as teaching Health and Safety classes at Ryerson. He was also instrumental in setting up the Health and Safety program for I.A.T.S.E. Local 873. Phil’s greatest past time was singing Rock & Roll and the Blues. He had a wonderful sense of humour that can be seen in his art work. Phil will be missed by his wife Dianne, son Scott, two grandchildren Vaughn and Summer, daughter-in-law Joy, sister Lois, niece Alexis, nephews Blake and Kane, sisters-in-law Rosanna, Debra, Joanne and brother-in-law Brian. To his many friends and family, please know that Phil is now pain free, singing and partying with all his buddies. A Celebration of Phil’s Life will be announced at a later date. A special thanks to Saint Elizabeth for their wonderful support. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
